Mandatory Services for all 123mrp.NET clients
123mrp.NET User Training Course (3 days)
Run monthly from our training centre in Southampton, this course covers the key functions of the 123mrp.NET system from the point of view of the user. The course begins by introducing the navigation and general control of the software, before taking the user through a simple sale from stock as an acclimatisation exercise. From there, the user is run through the key elements of Structures, Sales, Settings, MRP, Purchasing, Production, Stock and Accounting. There is an opportunity within the course for attendees to set up some data which is relevant to their company and work some examples through this data. Attendees take away their own copy of our very comprehensive course notes which also double up as a reference manual. This documentation is provided in both hard copy and electronic form. Attendees are encouraged to spend further private study time on their own company test system consolidating the lessons they have learned.
Who should attend? Your project manager and implementation team along with any senior manager / department head who needs an overall view of how 123mrp.NET will impact their department and your business.
Prerequisites. A basic knowledge of how to operate Windows applications is required before attending the course. Attendees would benefit from watching our product demonstration movies in advance of the course.

123mrp.NET Administration Course (1 day)
Run monthly from our training centre in Southampton, this course covers all of the technical issues that are of interest to your “system manager” or whoever is tasked with administering the 123mrp.NET system. This course covers issues such as SQL/SQL Express background, security, amending predefined 123mrp.NET reports (invoices etc), creating new reports, basic housekeeping and managing system upgrades.
Who should attend? Your project manager and system manager (administrator). It is usual to send at least two people to provide a backup for when the main administrator is not on-site.
Prerequisites. Attendees should have attended the 3-day user training course (above). A basic knowledge of database administration and report writing is advantageous.
Cost. £495 per person Price includes training manual, CD, lunch and refreshments.
123mrp.NET Implementation Planning Course (1 day)
Run monthly from our training centre in Southampton, this course covers all aspects of planning your implementation. We use Microsoft Project as our tool to map out your implementation. We have already created a “generic project plan” in which we have incorporated the typical phases and tasks associated with implementing 123mrp.NET. This training course will guide you in areas such as assembling your project team, agreeing your project goal and mapping out the distinct phases of your plan. At the end of the course you and your team will have a clear and fully understood “work to list” of all of the actions you must perform to ensure your implementation is delivered on-time, to budget and achieves the business benefits you are seeking.
Who should attend? Your project manager and any key members of the implementation team. It is usual to send at least two or three people to allow for a meaningful dialogue of key decisions that need to be taken during the course.

Free Network Verification Service
123mrp.NET has been designed to be installed by end users with no need for technical intervention. However, a successful install of 123mrp.NET will be dependent on the correct network environment being in place for both SQL and SQL Express installs. It is vital that Windows security issues are understood so that all users have the required level of access to the SQL/SQL Express databases they require. It is also vital that data backup is considered.
To this end we provide a free network verification service via our approved business partner Blue Chip Data Services. This takes the form of a telephone call where a series of key issues can be discussed or checked. If there are any aspects which fall short of requirements then Blue Chip can quote for addressing these. However, if you already have a network partner you work with then Blue Chip will simply make you aware of what you will need to ask your existing partner to provide.
Optional Service
Data Import Service
This toolkit allows you to import stock details, BOM's, resources, routings, customers, suppliers, opening stock balances, open sales orders and open purchase orders from Excel spreadsheets. You could set the Excel spreadsheets up from scratch or you could populate them with data from a previous system. The toolkit consists of a booklet of comprehensive (but non technical) instructions on how to configure your excel spreadsheets. It also includes a software utility which allows you to import those spreadsheets directly into 123mrp.NET. Should you need any additional help, support is available on the toolkit to ensure your data is successfully imported. This toolkit takes away a massive headache at your busy implementation time.
Prerequisites. Users of the toolkit should have attended the administration course.
Cost. £ 750 (SQL Express version) or £1250 (SQL version)
